What is in a name?
Tim has love the name Ryne since before I met him. When we first started talking about baby names, I absolutely hated the name, but I didn't have the courage to say anything. I knew that it had a special meaning to him, so I decided that I should probably just keep my opinions to myself.
I have gotten many compliments and probably just as many comments in regards to the name that we have picked. Many people believe that we made the name up or that it is a funny spelling for the name Ryan. Neither is true. Ryne is an Irish name. It is also the name of Tim's favorite baseball player (retired) Ryne Sandberg. It is pronounced like R-I-N-E.
I cannot decide if I love it or not. I definitely don't hate it anymore. It is growing on me, but I worry that he will end up correcting people all the time. When people ask and I tell them his name will be Ryne, they automatically assume that I said Ryan. Our ultrasound tech yesterday said, " Oh, all the Ryan's I know are just adorable!". Ugh.
We picked Joseph to honor Tim's grandfather. I think it works well together.
So, Ryne Joseph, I really hope you like your name. :-)

We are excited to meet Ryne Joseph!
We are officially expecting a baby boy! We are so excited! Tim cannot stop grinning from ear to ear either. Addison is equally excited and lovingly gives her "baby brudder" kisses each day. Today, we went in for an anatomy scan to make sure the baby is healthy, etc. We were able to see the "little guy" for quite a while. Addison wasn't really interested until they showed us some 4D images of him. You could see him moving all around and sticking out his tongue. Addison then took every opportunity to wave to her "baby brudder". It was SO sweet.

Baby #2 Update:
I ended up going in to see my dr this morning, because I hadn't felt the baby move in about 3 days. I was seriously freaking out. Tim had told me over the weekend to call the on-call dr, but I knew they would send me to the ER, and that they wouldn't be able to do anything even if something was wrong. So, I drank a lot of orange juice and tried to wait it out.
I still hadn't felt he/she this morning, so I decided that I'd better go in. I thought maybe they would just move up my ultrasound/appointment that is scheduled for next Monday, but instead they just used the doppler to find the heartbeat. It probably took a good 10 seconds! Tim & I agreed that that was the longest 10 seconds..... ever! Thankfully, the baby's heartbeat sounded great!!
Baby has decided to be extra active today. I think he/she is trying to make up for giving mommy a heart attack.
My "BIG" ultrasound is scheduled for next Monday (4/12), and we will find out if Baby Wiese #2 will be a boy or a girl! Yay!
I added a poll function on the right side, so I can see what everyone is guessing! ;-)

Enter to Win!
I am entering another car seat contest. I am obsessed with these things. I have to win one day, right?
Here is the latest contest:

I am keeping my fingers crossed. If I win, then that would be one less car seat to buy for the next baby. :-)
