These are a few things that I am scoping out right now. 

I would really like to get a new camera. I have heard great things about this one, and while it is more than I have ever spent on a camera before, it is still less than the Nikon D3000 that I was originally looking at. My current camera is a Sony Cybershot, and I really do love it. It still takes decent pictures, but after being left in the rain (oops!) it no longer takes video. I miss having videos of Addison, and would like to have some of the new baby as well. We do have a camcorder (bought for me by my lovely husband while I was pregnant with Addison) but it sucks. It is a Sony as well, but I really dislike it. It would take great videos if it didn't constantly blur up. I sent it back to be fixed shortly after we got it, and of course Sony said there was nothing wrong with it. :-(

These lovely diapers by Piddle Poddles. They are so luxuriously soft and fluffy, and they come in the most adorable prints. I can't justify the price, so I am currently stalking Spot's Corner for some gently used or new ones. There are some listed today, but I just can't do it yet. I have so many cloth diapers that I have been selling some off this week. I just don't have any adorable boy prints. :-)

Oh, and I am also contemplating a sewing machine. I have a lot of ideas spinning around in my head, but I don't want to spend a fortune on a new one only to find out that I don't like sewing. So, I am scoping craigslist to see what I can find.

Follow up to car seat post:

I was able to score a car seat yesterday at Target for $54 w/ tax! I tried to buy a few more for friends but I couldn't find anymore. Bummer. I will be selling the previous one that I purchased to a friend of ours.

Hopefully, I can keep up this good luck with clearance items. ;-)

Swimming Suit

This is Addison wearing the same swimsuit for 2008, 2009 & 2010. It won't fit next year.... thank goodness. I definitely got my money out of it though.

Addison's 1st Trip to the Dentist

On June 1st, I took Addison to her very 1st dentist visit. She did awesome! I was so proud of her.
We needed to go because Addie had fallen and bumped her right front tooth at my cousin's wedding reception. We didn't notice anything at first but then after a while it started to look brown on the back. Then, it started to turn a grayish color in the front. It isn't horribly noticeable but it bothers me. I am scared that kids are going to make fun of her, etc. We had xrays done, but the dentist said it looked fine right now. We need to keep an eye on it and watch for any abcessing or pain. Otherwise, we will go back in 3 months to re-evaluate it.

They had these adorable heart sunglasses for her to wear while the dentist was looking at her teeth. They also had a flat screen tv above the chair, so Addie was able to watch Dora while we waited. I have another pic of her and the dentist but it is on my phone, and I can't figure out how to get it off of there. :-(

Another good deal

I bought this car seat last week for $139.99 (marked down from $199.99). I have been watching closely to see when they are marking them down, and I was keeping my fingers crossed for an even better deal. Well, yesterday I went in and they were marked down to $99.98! So, I exchanged the one that I had previously purchased. I will use this as a spare seat until Ryne needs one. This seat is the model under the one that we currently have for Addie. This model goes to 50lbs instead of 65lbs but it still goes to 49 inches. I have NO doubt that Addie will outgrow her seat (or it will expire) before she ever hits 65lbs. So, I think that 5 years will be plenty of use for our little Ryne. I am not crazy about the pattern bit it will do. Plus, I love these seats SO much, I can't pass them up when they are marked so low.
I am going to keep my eyes open to see if they get marked down any lower. Someone found one at their Target for $35!  I think they are marking them down because Britax is getting ready to release a whole new line of seats. I am going to try and hold out on getting a 2nd seat for Ryne until next summer when those new seats go on clearance. They are supposed to be awesome, and I would love to try one out. I know..... I am such a dork. ;-)

**I should add that I looked into buying a more gender neutral cover for one of Addison's seats but the cover (and shipping) would have cost me around $80. The cover alone is $70!
