2 Firsts!

Ry is getting his 1st tooth (picture tomorrow) and had yogurt for breakfast! I can't believe he is growing up so fast!

I am hoping to take the kids in for professional pictures sometime in the next week. We were so good about having Addie's done at 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. We haven't had Ry's done at all except for our family pics right after he was born. Poor 2nd child.

Feeding the geese & ducks

On Saturday we took the kids to feed the geese and ducks at Boystown. I took Addison last year, and she was pretty scared of them. They weren't very nice.

This trip was pretty successful. In fact, I don't think she wanted to leave. We took 3 packages of buns for them, and she wasn't very happy when we ran out. She had a hard time tearing apart the buns into small pieces, so she would just pull a chunk off and throw it. I think she ended up tearing the bun in 1/2 pretty much, which made it a little difficult for them to eat.

When we first arrived we had about 2-3 geese around us. Then, I looked up and you could see the rest of them making their way across the lake. It was a really funny site! They just kept coming and coming.

Ry's 6 month stats:

His 6 month stats are: 18lbs 4oz and 26.6 inches. So, he is pretty much short and round! His head is in the 99th percentile! He does have a big head, but he is such a cute little guy!!

2 New Milestones

This morning Addison put on her undies all by herself! We have been working on this lately, and she seemed to be struggling with it. She was refusing to sit down while doing it, and would almost always throw a fit about it. This morning she stood right in front of me and pulled them right on! Whooo hoooo! We have been working on shirts and pants too. Hopefully, she will be able to dress herself by this Summer.


Also, Ry had his first taste of bananas today! It is also his 6 month birthday! Where has the time gone? He is getting so big and his hair is finally coming in.

He can:


Grab his feet (and eat them!)
Roll to his tummy
Blow raspberries
Reach out and grab things
Boune like crazy in his jumperoo
Eats about 4- 8oz bottles and 2 bowls of cereal a day
Sleeps from around 7pm to 7 am
