Yesterday's new words.....

Addison learned a bunch of new words yesterday!! It is getting so hard to keep track of all these new words.

Two more new teeth!

Addison started getting two more teeth yesterday (7/17). She is getting a bottom incisor and another molar! Poor girl.

Trip to the Neighborhood Park

Last night (7/15), we took Addison to the park down the street from our house. It was so nice out! Addison loves to go on the swings, and I am sure that would swing forever if she could.

She likes going down the slide, but she isn't brave enough to to it alone yet. Tim has to give her a little push, and then I wait at the bottom to catch her. She likes it but also looks a little terrified at first. She just can't manage to stay in a sitting up position, so I think the falling back is what scares her.

Anyway, I took plenty of pictures while we were there.......

Momma.... I see an airplane!!!

We got Addison this Power Wheels Lil' Quad today. She doesn't have many outdoor toys besides chalk and bubbles, so we are hoping that this helps keep her out of trouble for a while. We spend a lot of time out front in the evening (our backyard is super sunny in the evening), and Addison's new favorite thing is to run up (or down) the sidewalk and out into the street.
She wasn't able to actually ride it today, because I have to charge the battery for 18 hours before the first use. :-(
Hopefully, it will be fully charged in the morning, so we can see how she likes it. She seemed to enjoy it today. She pushed it around with her feet, tried to drive it backwards, and even found a "special" place for her sidewalk chalk.

Time for new shoes... again.

It was once again time for new shoes. Addison's last pair of white sandals were getting so small. I looked high and low for another pair like the last ones, and I couldn't find them anywhere. In fact, I couldn't find any size 4's (in any style). So, we ended up going with 5's. Tim actually picked these out while I was at work. I think he did a pretty good job. :-)

1st Trip to the Pool!

On July 6th, Lacey (Tim's cousin) and I took Addison to the pool at Lacey's apartment complex. This was the 1st time she had been in anything other than a "baby" pool. She loved it!
As soon as we walked through the gate and saw all the kids, she starting squealing and trying to get out of my arms. She sure is an independent little thing!
We had bought her a little float toy, and she liked it until I held her for a while, then she decided that being out of it was much cooler than being in it.
She loves it so much that I am thinking of enrolling her in baby swim lessons.

1st Trip to the Zoo!

We took Addison to the zoo for the 1st time on June 28th. She loved looking at all the animals!

She was quite skeptical of the petting zoo. She would sit and look at all the animals but had no interest in petting any of them.
