We bought Addison a little wooden kitchen for her big xmas/birthday gift, and she is really starting to like that thing. She got some cute wooden food for her birthday from my friend Stefani, and she also got an adorable pot and pan set from my mom & Roger. She only has those few things but it sure keeps her occupied! She can open and close the fridge/freezer and turn all the knobs on the stove. It is so cute, and I am sure she will love it for years to come!
We made another trip to the doctor on Saturday. Addison had been super fussy on Friday, and cried on and off all day. They couldn't get her in on Friday, so we had to call first thing Saturday morning. They only had a 10:50 appointment open, so we had to take it. Which meant that we had to postpone our 11:00 am daycare interview. We ended up getting good news though.... no more ear infection!! Yay!
Addison has been standing more, but she still isn't walking. We know it will come in time, but now that I am getting ready to start this new job, I am fearful that the daycare lady will see her first steps. That makes me very sad. She will only be at daycare about 7 hours a week though, so hopefully chances are slim that those first steps will happen at daycare.
We are making a trip to the vet today. A 16lb cat and a 20lb baby... This should be interesting!
Miss Addison has another new word. On Sunday, Tim discovered that she can say teeth. Though it sounds more like "Eeee-fff".
We are really enjoying watching her grow and learn every day. It seems as though not a day goes by without her learning something new.
She has really started dancing too! Tim has taken some cute videos of her on his phone, so we are working on trying to transfer them on to my computer. She loves music! Her dancing skills are something else. :-)
